Bookshops & Bonedust (Legends & Lattes)

This is a prequel to Legends & Lattes. It came out after the first book, but I read it first (being a prequel) and that worked fine. At the end there is an epilogue that jumps to a point after Legends & Lattes – just as a sort of reflection on the events of this book, and tying the two books together.

This book is also low angst. There is danger of course and story, but it is not the stuff to keep you awake at night. There are undertones of a potential girl/girl romance in this book as well (orc/dwarf) but it is all quite innocent.

The Purple Fantastic Steam Meter gives this a 1. Romance is not a primary plotline, but the possibility of romance does hover sweetly in the background. There is nothing remotely steamy in this story.
