September 2024 Letter Archive

September is upon us. Like it or not, it is here nonetheless!

I have been enjoying exploring the posts on Gay Men Loving Gay Books … so many men sharing what they are reading, what they are enjoying… it has been inspiring and my virtual and physical stack of books-to-read is getting taller.

I am presently reading The Watchmaker of Filigree Street. I began it as an audiobook from the library, but the storytelling was so rich with detail that I decided to read it instead. So I bought the hardback and am now immersed in it. I very much enjoy audiobooks but I often find I don’t have the same comprehension as when I actually read a book. I miss things.

I’ve got Voyage of the Damned up next, followed by The Lost Future of Pepperharrow

And I’m listening to Death in the Spires by KJ Charles.

And of course leading hikes, and visiting museums, and working on creative projects.

I hope you are finding time to connect with others along with your time for reading. And perhaps taking time for some creative endeavors as well.
