Disco comes to your toilet…

This made me laugh. I initially bought this to enliven my apartment for a Halloween party, but I was surprised at how incredibly useful it is! Yes! It always amuses guests… guests leave for the powder room and they return later with a silly grin on their faces. That’s ALWAYS a win in my book as a host. You can choose from a multitude of colors to support the season, and you can even set it to regularly change… a true party in your toilet. Naturally one does need to take a little more care when cleaning the toilet to make sure the little light hanging inside the rim stays clean. But it’s worth it to have giggling guests.

But the surprise value came in the discovery of night usage. The light is motion activated, so when you do get up in the wee hours there is no need to turn on the bathroom light. When I’m half asleep, the last thing I want is a glaring light to wake me up further. The key spot you are looking for is clearly lit. It is a perfectly positioned nightlight. They don’t last a long time. Over the course of 6 years, I have replaced it three times. But they are pretty cheap, so not that big of a deal.

A toilet light is an affordable way to bring a bit more fun into your life. 🙂
