Holiday books can be fun any time of year.

I don’t know about you, but I read holiday books year round. It doesn’t need to be November or December for me to embrace the holiday spirit. I thoroughly enjoyed Planes, Trains, and Hurricanes. Yes. It takes place in December and concerns Christmas. But it isn’t really about Christmas. It is about exploring our fixed ideas of our identity and exploring who we might become if we clung less tightly to our old stories. This was a great read. I highly recommend it for any time of year.
