This is the first book in a fun and imaginative trilogy. In some ways the tone is light, but relationships and plot points bring the world of Faerie to life. This series has a lot of fun with the notion of temp worker who is accidentally assigned to a psychologist’s office who focuses on ailments in the magical world. As the three book series progresses it increasingly brings to life the world of faerie. The world building is rich and layered. As playful as the series might be on the surface, the characters are engaging and the stories are worth your time if you are interested in Faerie lore.
