This is a thriller that is hard to put down. While the first book tells of a cross country trek from California to Massachusetts, this book is a water journey from Massachusetts to… well the intent is somewhere south… someplace safe. But is there anywhere that is safe in a world overrun with zombies and crazy survivalists? This book is just as gripping as the first. There are three books, but the third book is not out yet. But she promises that it’s coming. And though there is certainly more to be explored at the end of each of the first two books, they do not end on cliffhangers (which I very much appreciate). I am impatient to read the final installment.

(The Purple Fantastic Steam Meter gives this a 4… it gets very sexy at times, but Keira Andrews writes amazing sex scenes that rarely forget the emotional content of the relationship and the context of the moment.)
